In summer, this bush and heathland, part of the landscape mosaic of the Mountain to Mangroves nature corridor, makes a wonderfully breezy retreat

This easy bush circuit of around 2km return embraces both the scenic and secluded banks of Tingalpa Creek with its fishing outposts and marshes as well as paperbark and eucalypt forest.
Toohey Forest is remarkable for the fact that at only 10km from the CBD, here is a 260 ha preserved sample of the forest vegetation that once covered most of Brisbane.
