Lord Mayor's Photographic Awards

Brisbane

Lord Mayor's Photographic Awards are back for 2024, so get out and about in our beautiful city and start snapping for your chance to win cash prizes across six categories!

Entries are open to anyone who lives, works or studies in Brisbane, and this year's entrants are being asked to capture ‘Brisbane in its best light’ as an opportunity to celebrate the places, people and experiences that make our city shine brightly.

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner believes Brisbane provides endless inspiration for creatives looking to showcase their suburbs.

“From our verdant gardens and heritage suburbs, to our native wildlife and everything in between, we look forward to seeing how creatives will bring the best of Brisbane to life through their lens,” said Schrinner.

This year’s categories are Open, Student, Social Media, Green Heart, LaVonne Bobongie and the People's Choice Award, with cash prizes of up to $5,000 up for grabs.

Regardless of skill level, entrants can submit photos that highlight what makes our city great. Photos submitted for this year's competition must be taken from 10 June 2023 onwards.

Enter your image for the 2024 Lord Mayor’s Photographic Awards from 10am Wednesday 1 May until 4pm Friday 7 June 2024.
