Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s popular Cinematic concert experience is back with the biggest line-up ever of film music from the screen, as well as some epic classical music which has underscored great movie moments, at QPAC on May 26 and 27, 2023.

Ever since the days of silent film, music has been an integral part of the cinema experience. A great soundtrack can bring us to tears or fill us with a sense of exhilaration.

From sci-fi to fantasy, rom-com to animation, Williams to Zimmer, there will be something for all ages, including music from blockbusters like Lord of the Rings, Avatar, Titanic, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Howl's Moving Castle and many more.

For this concert, Queensland Symphony Orchestra will be joined on stage by one of Brisbane’s best choirs, Voices of Birralee, to perform spine-tingling choral highlights, including the mighty ‘Duel of the Fates’ from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.
