Brisbane’s all-ages Brazilian Street Festival brings a lively and vibrant burst of South American colour and culture to Fortitude Valley on Saturday afternoon, September 15th.
This family-friendly fiesta, held on Ballow St outside the GPO*, is a celebration of all things Brazilian - an extraordinary cultural experience right in the heart of Fortitude Valley.
Come along and enjoy delicious Brazilian drinks, live music performances, DJ sets and entertainment, while kids are entertained with a fun kid zone, soccer field and face painting.
The traditional street festival-style affair will feature authentic Brazilian food from Brazilyum BBQ, Samba Catering Co (Samba Moqueca), Cakes By Priscila, Eat! Pastel and Crispy Kale (açaí) with drinks including Caipiroska and Caipirinha.
Live music will be pumping all afternoon and into the evening, with an exciting line-up of local Brazilian bands, DJs, and artists performing on the main stage, so bring your dancing shoes and Samba with the best.
Nice to know - Parking is available at Secure Parking (entry via Warner St). Ticket-holders can join in the afterparty at GPO for free.
Need to know - Gates open at 1pm until late. Children are welcome, with those under 12 admitted free while those aged 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
