Peaks to Points Festival is a fantastic eco celebration and awareness raiser of the diverse beauty of nature in south east Qld.
A highlight is The Peaks to Points Festival Family Day at Oxley Creek Common on Sunday July 15, which is presented by Brisbane MarketPlace.
The day will feature live local entertainment including the Street Science stage show, followed by a hands-on science sherbet making workshop.
There will also be FREE kids arts and crafts hosted by Creative Kids Brisbane, face painting, a baby animal farm, jumping castle and much more.
Kids can get their hands dirty with Little Green Thumbs, with the chance to plant their own vegetable seedling, learn how to take care of it and watch it grow at home.
A variety of sustainability and environmental groups with be exhibiting along with food and drink vendors.
The Family Day is part of the 2 week-long festival, which will see over 35 family-friendly events across the south side of Brisbane and throughout Ipswich, Redlands & Logan regions.
The majority of the events are completely free and provide parents and excellent opportunity to get the kids out into nature and get their hands dirty.
