David Walliams' best-selling children's book RATBURGER will be brought to life on stage these Easter school holidays at QUT Gardens Theatre for 8 shows only, from April 6-8, 2024.

Making its Australian premiere in Brisbane, the hilarious new play is an action-packed and touching modern-day fairy tale, featuring a stellar cast, visually stunning sets, charming puppetry and intricate projection.

Ratburger follows the adventures of Zoe, a young girl who lives in a rundown flat with her dad and a stepmother who ignores her, plus the school bully is making her life miserable and her pet hamster has just died!

When Zoe befriends a lovable dancing rat named Dapper, things start looking up – but the evil Burt from Burt's Burgers is cooking up an awful plan (the clue is in the title). Now, it’s up to Zoe to save the day.

Ratburger is the latest production from CDP Kids (the team behind the recent Australian tours of Dog Man the Musical and The 78-Storey Treehouse), and the fourth David Walliams’ book to be adapted for the stage by Australian author/playwright Maryam Master.

Tickets are $39-$48 plus transaction fee. Vacation Care Groups 20+ tickets are $24 per person, one free teacher per 20 students. Ratburger is recommended for ages 6 and up.
