West Side Burger is a tiny bespoke burger bar open for dine in or takeaway in an historic West End shop, from the savvy chef and owner of Mama Taco.

Diners can take a seat on the handful of tables outside or the bench and bar seating inside and partake in a choice of 3 delectable burgers that are amongst the best to be found anywhere in Brisbane.

On the menu is the signature West Side Burger (brioche, grass fed patty, lettuce, tomato, onion and west sauce); Eden Burger (potato bun, shiitake miso eggplant patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and eden sauce); or Burger of the Week (with fillings such as lamb smash patty, pickles, cheese, tomato, tahini and west sauce); with all available wrapped in rice paper.

Burgers are also available single or double with add-ons including jalapeno, fried egg, beetroot kimchi, anchovies, grilled onion, hot sauce, cheese or hot sauce and to accompany there's regular or loaded fries (with cheese, creme fraiche, beans, pickles, onion, jalapeno, parmesan & dill); or salad (charred cabbage, pickles, macadamia, cucumber, tomato, radicchio, sherry balsamic).

For something sweet there's an in-house gelato bar with gelato flavours like burnt sourdough, campfire marshmallow, marmalade toast and white or golden peach sorbet as well as daily creations like Creme Brulee tart.

As well as top notch food, West Side Burger has a cracking boutique wine and cocktail list with the latter a mix of Italian and classic cocktails, as well as Amari and spirits, local craft beers and Peroni Nastro Azzuro.

Meanwhile non-alcoholic drinks include shakes (starwberry jam, chocolate malt, marshmallow or maple peanut butter) and soft drinks such as golden pash popper, double sarsparilla, creaming soda, passiona and sparkling mineral water.
