Happy Valley Brewing Company

Stafford

Happy Valley Brewing Company is a craft brewery with bar, open to the public from Wednesday through Sunday, pouring freshly brewed cold beer.

Located in an industrial sidestreet in Stafford, the microbrewery pays homage to the northside suburb's original name, Happy Valley, before being renamed by Sir Thomas Brisbane because it reminded him of home in Staffordshire, England.

Owned by Cheyne Meehan and Jarrett Bravo (former brewer at Newstead Brewing), the dynamic duo built the brewery in 8 weeks; transforming a vacant warehouse into a boutique brewery with 11 stainless steel tanks, a cool room, and a bar area with plenty of seating - painted in grasshopper green with a funky fluro mural.

Plus, there's a private mezzanine level that can be booked for functions, known as The Paddock, overlooking the whole operation.

Customers can settle in for a cold brew with 11 taps on offer including something for everyone; from Staffordshire Red English ale and Our Own Thing Australian strong ale, to Getting There American pale ale and FanBoi New England IPA.

While there's no on-site kitchen, customers can purchase Cheyne's homemade beef jerky or a mouth-watering brisket roll when the Boss BBQ Smoker is fired up.

Nice to know -  Happy Valley Brewing is child and dog-friendly.
