Hyde Away Café is a family-friendly, dog-friendly top-notch brunch spot in Yeronga serving all-day breakfast, brunch and lunch.
Located on Hyde Road opposite Fehlberg Park, Hyde Away is a sibling for Graceville’s Goodness Gracious Café. Here, customers can expect the same fabulous seasonal fare, sourced locally.
Patrons can dine inside the café with casual, coastal décor or al fresco on the footpath with their furry friends.
The all-day menu boasts breakfast faves like bacon and eggs and avocado on sourdough with peperonata and feta, as well foodie dishes such as smoked salmon and pot roast fennel with poached eggs, sweet potato and carrot fritters with feta and fennel salad, and brioche French toast with lemon curd, raspberry and pistachio crumb, meringue and coconut cream.
Brunch or lunch-type fare ranges from braised beef shoulder croquettes with red pepper puree, roast corn and black bean salsa with fried eggs, and jerk chicken tacos with kiwi salsa verde, to roast pork and broccolini sandwiches with red peppers and cheese on tiger bread bun.
The café is kid-friendly with a separate menu for children which includes little bacon and eggs, French toast with berries and coconut cream, and chicken burgers or nuggets with chips.
Coffee on pour is roasted locally by Parallel Roasters. Otherwise, there’s cold-drip coffee, organic teas, specialty lattes, house made iced tea, milkshakes, smoothies and refreshing HRVST juices such as Orange Sky made with oranges, pineapple, turmeric and lemon.
