Bang Coffee Bar

Coorparoo

A funky green coffee den in an old shop off Old Cleveland Rd, Bang is the younger sibling of Groove Cafe in Annerley.

Retro is still the theme here with Campbell Soup cans for light fittings, a menu on a wall-mounted roll of brown paper, and an old BP petrol pump for a water fridge the backdrop for a BlackStar coffee and home-made snack.

The menu might be slim but highly snack-attack worthy. For breakfast on the run try the avocado salsa and toast or the hot pressed bacon sandwich with chilli jam and a side of tabasco. Or for a dose of nostalgia there's also a Coco Pops or Rice Bubbles option.

The menu may have changed since this review
