Blackmarket Bar & Grill
Brisbane Cbd
BLACKMARKET BAR & GRILL HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
Blackmarket Bar & Grill is serving up quality Queensland produce and bespoke cocktails in its’ idyllic location at 1 William Street, Brisbane.
The eatery is located in a smaller building next to 1 William Street, spread across three levels. The ground level resides Marketkart, serving corporate folk their morning coffee, whilst upstairs is where the restaurant and bar is. The eatery has an iconic Queensland vibe.
It’s the ideal spot for a drink with a view with their expansive rooftop bar area and floor to ceiling windows at the grill. Try the Blackmarket Espresso Martini, or the Buderim Ginger Giddyup, made with Buderim ginger beer and Central Queensland lime juice.
If you’re looking for a snack to enjoy with your cocktail, try their local lemony snapper sliders, bursting with Noosa snapper and preserved lemon mayo.
The menu celebrates Queensland produce, with dishes laden with seafood, Australian meat, and local fruit and vegetables. Queensland’s Ekka 2017 Grand Champion Beef is one of their prize dishes, which goes down well with a glass of Pinot Noir.
The vege patch is a great choice for vegetarians, laden with colourful local vegetables such as their char-grilled Queensland cauliflower.
Nice to know – There is often live music on Friday afternoons.
