Brisbane's Christmas festivities kick off with the Lord Mayor’s Lighting of the Christmas Tree, proudly presented by The Lott by Golden Casket, at 6:20pm on Friday 1 December. A highlight of the festive season, this year's event includes a special performance by Dami Im, along with live Christmas carols and Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner lighting Brisbane's impressive 22-metre Christmas tree

The grand ornate facade of Brisbane City Hall will once again transform into a lively canvas of stunning visuals and sounds of a Christmas story.  A favourite with children and adults alike, this free show will run daily from 8-24 December, 7:30pm to midnight

Take a break from Christmas shopping in The City and enjoy live holiday entertainment. Christmas-themed performances and roaming entertainers will be popping-up in Queen Street Mall daily from 11am-2.30pm, and during late-night shopping from 4:30pm-8pm

Be enchanted by the magic of the season as you discover the cute Christmas-themed tiny doors scattered throughout The City! This free activity offers festive fun for the whole family - available all December in King George Square, Queen Street Mall and other locations throughout Brisbane City

The much-loved Lord Mayor's Christmas Carols return to Riverstage on Saturday 2 December, with a spectacle of song and celebration showcasing some of Brisbane's best and brightest stars. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Tuesday 14 November via Ticketmaster. Be quick to book as tickets are limited and sell out fast

Brisbane City's Christmas Tree is a cherished tradition dating back to the 1950s. Standing at an impressive 22-metres tall, visitors will be able to admire the glorious, illuminated tree in King George Square until early January
