After 27 years feeding the residents of Toowong, Brisbane dining institution A Night in India has made the move to Milton's Park Road.

Diners can take a seat on the terrace alongside the fairylit tree or inside and enjoy the delicious menu of classic and contemporary Indian cuisine.

Starters include Papadums Platter (5 papadums served with date & tamarind chutney and yoghurt & mint sauce), lamb or vegetable samosa; potato or samosa cutlet chamosa; chicken or panir tikka; and a wide selection of pakora (spinach & onion, mushroom, cauliflower or broccoli, fish, chicken, panir or prawn).

Oven-baked dishes include chicken tikka, panir tikkka, patiala chaap, full tandoori chicken or mixed platter; whilst the extensive range of curries include mild sweet (butter, mango, korma, punjabi, nawabi, massaman, peanut, mughlai & maharajah) and mild-medium, medium-hot, hot & super hot (malai, lahori, saag, lassan, roganjosh, balti, jalfrezi, amritsari, vindaloo, baingan & chilli).

Vegetarian and vegan curries abound, with a choice of alu, mixed veges, mushroom, veg kofta, panir or tofu and soya chunks or chaap, while for dessert there's a selection of ice-cream (vanilla or chocolate, ras malai, gulab jamun, and kulfi) or cake (chocolate or sticky date pudding).

Drinks-wise, there's a selection of local and international beers, budget wines, spirits (Midori, Jack Daniels & Bombay Sapphire) and non-alcoholic drinks including soft drinks, lassi, tea, Indian chai tea and Indian coffee. Diners can BYO wine for a small corkage charge.

Need to know - There is parking available at the rear of the restaurant and basement car park as well as a limited amount of on-street parking.
