Silver Fox Wine Bar

THE SILVER FOX WINE BAR IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED IN 2020.

Silver Fox Wine Bar is a luxe and cosy bar nestled in the old Mineral House on Edward St in Brisbane CBD, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and after-work tipples.

The ambient interior is laden with ornate features such as chandeliers and deluxe leather couch seating, while low lighting sets the mood for the bar, making it an inviting location to sit and enjoy a drink or two. Diners can seat themselves on relaxed lounges, or alternatively sit at bar tables.

Silver Fox is the place to munch on a quality, bona fide cheese plate, charcuterie mix or a variety of their tapas plates. The Let Us Choose option for both the cheese and charcuterie is a fantastic option, allowing diners to taste three varieties of quality cheeses and delicious meats.

The Gillot Brie sourced from France, Coiston Basset Stilton and Aged Red Leicester from England are highly recommended and all vastly different in taste. In terms of the meats, there are a few bespoke options on the menu such as the Bresaola, which is an Australian air dried salted beef, a Mallorcan salami and a Spanish proscuttio.

As for drinks, the wine list is quite a lengthy one, featuring only the finest quality wines sourced from around the globe. There is also a wall of spirits to choose from, ready for on the rocks or in a cocktail. Ensure you don’t leave here without ordering their Chocolate Chilli Espresso Martini – it’s what dreams are made of!
