Ben's Burgers

Fortitude Valley

Ben’s Burgers is a slice of burger heaven tucked away in the Valley's Winn Lane, where minimalist décor and a pared-back menu are testament to the old adage less is more.

Ben’s philosophy that you keep it simple and do it brilliantly has paid off, resulting in finely crafted burgers from high quality carefully sourced ingredients that are about as close to perfection as you’ll find, and best of all, at top value prices.

Central to the menu are 3 breakfast and three lunch/dinner burgers with a small range of extras (think candied bacon, jalapenos, tomato, banana or extra patty) to mix’n’match.

Breakfast burgers come on crispy toasted buns with fillings of cheese, egg and sausage with Bourbon BBQ sauce or bacon with special BBQ sauce and The King makes an appearance with the Elvis Burger – bacon, peanut butter, maple syrup and banana, while toasted brioches, muesli or muffins are also available.

For lunch and dinner both the BB Special (succulent beef patty, cheese, pickles, onion, jalapenos and special sauce) and the BB Classic (beef, cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup and mayo) are outstanding and vegetarians aren’t forgotten, with the Vege burger of mushroom, parmesan, Swiss cheese, pickle, lettuce, tomato, aioli and onion.

To accompany there’s fries (plain or chilli cheese) and a small or large salad of the day and to finish a slice or chocolate brownie or pecan pie with ice-cream.

Meanwhile the succinct drinks list features a couple of craft beers on tap from Burleigh Brewing Company, green smoothies, house-made cherry cola or ginger ale, OJ, tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

Tip – Go for the beer and burger special which is excellent value and available all day: a schooner of beer, burger and fries for just $20*
