Unique France is a Francophile, antique lover and collector’s dream that can be found on Kangaroo Point's main thoroughfare.

An Aladdin’s cave of ornate French antiques, artworks, contemporary furniture, lighting, wares and gorgeous statement pieces, Unique France is the kind of place to get lost in and from which one purchase will transform a room.

Owner Rodolfo personally curates the collection, which derives from the 18th to the 21st centuries and incorporates period and contemporary furniture, artworks, jewellery and sculptures.

Exquisite art deco consoles, Chinoiserie side boards, elegant day beds, Napoleonic and Louis XV chairs and ornate armoires are amongst the period pieces you can expect to find, along with 19th century coffee sets, mid nineteenth century table settings, beautiful candelabras, chandeliers and unique pieces like a coffee table fashioned out of a steamer trunk.

Game tables, tea tables, occasional, side and dressing tables from romantic bygone eras figure amongst the stock and contemporary furniture can be found here too, such as mode bookcases by Pierre Rochepeau.

In addition there’s a glass cabinet of modern costume jewellery and look out for the odd conversation-stopping sculpture by leading Queensland sculptor Peter Steller (including a sculpture fashioned from a New Farm jacaranda) and Mela Cooke.
