My Beer Dealer

Petrie Terrace

My Beer Dealer is Brisbane's first drink-in bottle shop, nestled downstairs within the black Caxton St cottage it shares with Petrie Terrace's popular Brewski Bar.

From the savvy owners of Brewski, which is renowned for its extensive range of unique craft beer sourced from all over the world, Beer Dealer stocks an impressive 400+ range of Australian and imported beers.

Unlike a regular bottle shop, My Beer Dealer is a drink-in bottle shop with 10 taps, so customers have the option of enjoying some amazing beers in a fancy glass, and/or getting it fresh from the tap dispensed into a 500ml can, a squealer or a growler to take-away and enjoy.

There's also a canning machine which is another way you can purchase beer from the taps as they've been doing in Europe for years, where you can bring your own bottle to get refilled.

As co-owner and beer curator Matt Emmerson confirmed: "Instead of just being able to get takeaways or having a rep there giving you tastings, you can actually go in and buy a bottle at a bar price to test first. Or with our 10 taps, you might just get a pot of beer and say, ’Yes I really like that one, I’m going to buy that."

The bottle shop is next to a cosy degustation courtyard where customers are also welcome to sit while testing the beers on offer. Enter the shop either via the stairs inside Brewski or via the back door on Judge St.

Need to know - Although My Beer Dealer is 80% beer, there's also a small selection of minimum intervention and natural Australian wines, indie Australian spirits and quality merch.

Nice to know - My Beer Dealer is the final piece of the expansion puzzle at Brewski Bar. After 2+ years of planning, Brewski recently opened its newly-renovated and expanded back area and downstairs function room.
