Food Adventure Buffet
Four Points By Sheraton Brisbane
The Food Adventure Buffet at The Eatery, Four Points by Sheraton, is a top spot to let your taste buds explore the culinary delights from around the world and is running now until the end of May.
Open on Friday and Saturday nights from 5.30pm to 9.30pm, the dishes change on a weekly basis, and the chef’s are guided by what’s most popular with the diners, whilst at the same time, showcasing regional Queensland produce and incorporating a farm-to-table philosophy.
The buffet, with an open kitchen where you can see the food being freshly prepared, offers a wide range of hot dishes for meat lovers and vegetarians alike, with mouth-watering options such as Thai Beef Curry with Saffron Rice, Italian Chorizo and Mushroom Risotto, Russian Salmon Coulibac (salmon baked in pastry with herbs), Chinese Vegetable and Fried Noodles with Seasonal Vegetables, and Spicy USA BBQ Wings, just to name a few.
The Salad Bar allows you the dining delight of including your own preferred ingredients from a fantastic array of fresh and healthy choices. You can construct your own Caesar Salad or Garden Salad, and what is most impressive is that the Caesar Dressing, the spicy and delish Namjim and the French Dressing are all freshly house-made from scratch.
Continuing on the theme of culinary multiculturalism, the Salad Bar also offers international favourites such as Mediterranean Vegetable Salad, Pesto and Sundried Tomato Pasta Salad, and more. And remember, these, too, change weekly.
A popular inclusion is the Ramen Station, where you can tailor-create your ramen to suit your taste, preferences and mood on the night.
Make sure you keep room for the dessert buffet because you are definitely spoilt for choice from across the globe when it comes to satiating a sweet tooth.
The Pavlova is a stand-out, smothered in fresh cream and fruit with generous servings on offer, and the Mexican Baked Custard Tartlets will simply melt in your mouth. Imagine the best chocolate mousse of your life and double it, served delicately in quaint miniature cups, and even better, the Espresso Jelly dolloped with Caramel Cream and a Walnut Crumble will take you to another planet (but best not to let the children near this one!).
If you’re trying to be good, rest assured there is a wonderful offering of seasonal fresh fruit for you to enjoy. And if you think that’s enough options, you’re wrong! There are also hard-to-resist temptings such as scrumptious iced donuts, a cook-while-you-look pancake station with ice-cream and toppings galore, plus there’s house-baked cookies to go with your tea, coffee or hot chocolate. If you’ve room, of course!
The Eatery’s wine menu is very well-priced with a great selection of both Australian and NZ wines available by the glass and the bottle, light and full-strength beers, spirits and non-alcoholic options to enjoy. There's something for everyone.

Nice to know – All hot dishes are prepared fresh as they’re needed, so your dining experience is at optimum enjoyment. And with dishes changing weekly, you can explore new flavours and destinations each time you visit.
Nice to know – The chefs like to encourage their apprentices to contribute ideas for dishes based on their own nationality, upbringing and experiences.
Nice to know – Special dietary needs are easily met, just let the hotel know when you make your booking, or if you’re a walk-in, just let the staff know when you arrive.
