Michael Parekowhai: The Promised Land
New Zealand’s leading contemporary artist has transformed part of GOMA into a memory palace in this immersive exhibition that features famous works like The Horn of Africa and The Story of a New Zealand River. GOMA. Free

The Infinity Room on the upper level of GOMA is a major attraction of this stunning retrospective of Japanese contemporary art, dating from 1989. Another highlight is the works of Yayoi Kusama, whose Obliteration Room in the Children’s Art Gallery is a must visit for young & old. GOMA. Free
