The Kokoda Challenge Brisbane is back for another year with a life-changing adventure through the beautiful D’Aguilar National Park, on Saturday, June 1, 2024.

The Kokoda Challenge Brisbane

The Kokoda Challenge is Australia's toughest team endurance event that honours Australian Diggers who fought along the Kokoda Track in New Guinea in 1942, and raises funds for Kokoda Youth Foundation that supports local kids through experiential youth programs.

The Kokoda Challenge Brisbane

Starting from Brookfield Recreation Reserve, just 30 minutes from the CBD, the Kokoda Challenge is suitable for teams of 2-5 people, with the option to tackle the 18km, 30km or 48km trails within the 22-hour time limit.

The Kokoda Challenge Brisbane

The track undulates through the natural green scenery of D'Aguilar National Park. This subtropical area is reminiscent of the Owen Stanley Ranges in Papua New Guinea, where the real Kokoda Track is located. The challenging and rugged course includes steep inclines, treacherous mud, and challenging creek crossings, to pay tribute to the sacrifices of the Diggers who fought in the 1942 Kokoda Campaign.

The Kokoda Challenge Brisbane

Registrations are open until Friday, May 8th, unless sold out prior.
