Brisbane’s best little market returns on Sunday 2 June with Plant Empire’s Winter Market, offering a great selection of plants, pots, ceramics, jewellery, handmade crafts, food, music and more.

Located in amongst industrial warehouses in Yeerongpilly on Brisbane’s southside, this market has become a cult favourite for locals looking for unique art, coffee, food and plants.

 Plant Empire Winter Market, Yeerongpilly

This market is a celebration of nature and is a favourite of local Brisbane artists making original handmade treasures, like Happy Heart Ceramics coffee cups, silver jewellery from Hannah Tempany Studio, unusual plants, upcycled clothing by Melissa Makes Stuff, and much more.

With over 40 stalls, you’ll find everything you need from local artisans. And of course you can also wander through Plant Empire itself to enjoy the plants, original art or plan your next creative workshop.

Grab a coffee and indulge in a vegetarian breakfast from Vegetabelle or a delicious Mexican snack from Carlos Tacos, and celebrate live local music with Caribbean drum beats from the River City Steel Band and a mix of covers and original songs performed by local band Mona Verdour and the Broken Hearted.
