Scenic Rim Eat Local Month, Australia's most authentic paddock-to-plate food and farming experience is back and bigger than ever!

Running from 1 - 30 June and spanning 5 weekends, Eat Local Month will feature more than 120 delicious foodie events hosted by the region's restaurants, farmer, chefs, bakers, butches and brewers. 

This country culinary adventure offers something to satisfy all tastes and budgets. From Beaudesert to Beechmont, Kerry to Kalbar, and Mount Alford to Tamborine Mountain, Eat Local Month features a rich lineup of 40 long lunches and dinners, 23 workshops and classes, 37 tours and experiences, 53 meet-the-producer opportunities and 50+ family-friendly activities. 

Eat Local Month 24

Kick start your adventure on the first weekend (1-2 June) by exploring the picturesque towns of Canungra, Tamborine Mountain and Beechmont for lazy long lunches, winery tours, producer markets and so much more! 

Journey into the second weekend (6-9 June), and you'll discover fertile lands, expansive paddocks and charming country towns of Boonah, Kalbar, Harrisville, Roadvale and Mount Alford. Meet the farmers, hand pick produce from the ground and enjoy ‘chef-hatted’ dining experiences! 

Eat Local Month 24

The third weekend (June 14-16), serves up more long lunches, flavour filled dinners and hands-on workshops across the region, and some good ol' country hospitality at the annual Scenic Rim Clydesdale Spectacular in Boonah. This event celebrates all things Clydesdale and holds the title of being the richest Clydesdale Show in the Southern Hemisphere! 

On the fourth weekend (21-23 June), explore the heart of the Scenic Rim where ancient rainforests meet paddocks. There’s on-farm workshops and tours, and long lunches and flavour-filled dinners against some of the most breathtaking backdrops across the region. 

Eat Local Month 24

Save the best for last! Mark your calendars for the last weekend (28-30 June) as the charming country town of Kalbar comes alive for the Winter Harvest Festival and a program of harvest festivities! What a way to wrap-up Eat Local Month.
