The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents is the latest charming Brisbane Arts Theatre production, based on the magical story book of the same name by acclaimed author Sir Terry Pratchett.

The plot, which is a funny and light-hearted take on the German classic tale, goes that Maurice is a tough but brilliant cat who has lived for years by his sharp wits on the mean streets of Discworld. When one day he learns of talking rats and spots a child playing a flute, he hatches a clever far-fetched plan.

Before long he has formed a league of rats and recruits his very own Pied Piper and sets out to become the richest feline in the land. But unfortunately for Maurice, by the time they reach the far away village of Bad Blintz, the rats have other ideas..
