Willow Cafe

Balmoral

Willow Cafe is a casual, coastal chic cafe in Brisbane's east offering next-level brunch fare such as prime rib eggs benedict and breakfast brûlée.

Perched on a leafy street corner in Balmoral, Willow is a sibling for the popular Stones Corner cafe Stones Throw, owned by Adam Dartnall, who has teamed up with pastry chef extraordinaire and former Piefection owner, Matt Roman, to create an inventive menu of dishes that look as delightful as they taste.

Savoury dishes on offer include Crab Cakes (made with Australian blue swimmer crab, served with yuzu dressing and poached eggs), Black Truffle Oxtail Shakshuka (slow-braised oxtail in capsicum and white bean ragu, with poached eggs and sourdough), Salmon Laksa (pan-seared Atlantic salmon with green tea noodles and Malaysian broth), and Prime Rib Eggs Benedict - 18-hour sous vide rib fillet served medium rare with poached eggs, horseradish, sourdough and béarnaise sauce.

Sweet temptations include the dessert-like Turkish Breakfast Brûlée - pomegranate crème brûlée with fig labneh in filo pastry topped with baklava, pistachio and Persian fairy floss; plus a scrumptious selection of baked goods by Floss (a side business for Camp Hill's Florence Cafe). Think moreish cakes like Lemon Dream and Raspberry Chocolate Coconut.

Coffee on pour is The Cat's Pyjamas, roasted locally by Seven Miles, served along with specialty teas, cold pressed juices, milkshakes and smoothies. Willow is also licensed, offering refreshing libations like beer, wine and classic cocktails including espresso martinis, margaritas, mimosas and bloody marys.
