Mourning Roast

Stones Corner

Mourning Roast is a specialty coffee bar caffeinating Stones Corner locals and commuters from early in the morning until late at night.

Open daily from 4am until 11pm, Mourning Roast owners Sam and Nadine have created a community hub where coffee lovers can enjoy excellent espresso (almost) anytime of the day.

Patrons can lounge on vintage sofas in the espresso bar, where modern architecture meets luxe gothic aesthetics, while sipping on the cafe's signature coffee blend, batch brew or cold brew. The cafe also offers an inhouse single origin supplied by Brisbane-based Black Mass Roasters. Besides espresso, there's hot chocolate, chai latte, matcha, and frappes.

The compliment the bevys on offer, there's a range of delicious, home baked treats like carrot cake jam drop biscuits, double choc biscotti, chocolate macadamia brownies, pavlova rocky road, cinnabuns with espresso maple glaze, vegan cinnabuns, and ham and cheese croissants.
