The striking cavernous venue features burnt orange and timber booths along the walls, circular tables with curved chairs neon lit inset artworks, banquettes and exposed iron girders on the ceiling.

Offering traditional Thai cuisine taken to the next level with top notch produce and a creative twist,  Vela Kinn also serves killer Thai-flavoured cocktails.

The menu features a raw section, together with a delectable line-up of street food dishes and flavoursome curries.

Dishes include the likes of heavenly steamed dumplings in a delicate broth. baked scallops with chilli jam, butter and basil; and raw beef larb (beef tartare , chilli flakes, roasted ground rice & herbs) and crispy eggplant with tangy glaze, with green garnish.

There's also crispy whole fish with fried garlic, chilli and pepper; fragrant chicken curry; and char-grilled pork neck seasoned with Thai spices, with herbs and selection of dips; and, for something more adventurous,  24-hour cooked ox tongue with pickled egg yolk and salt sesame dip.
