Tea Leaf Readings at Brisbane Arcade

Brisbane Arcade’s much loved tea leaf readings are back as part of the iconic Brisbane building's 100th birthday celebrations, held every Friday until October 19.

For decades Brisbane Arcade was famed for its tea leaf readings which were conducted in the former Rendezvous Tea Rooms on the Gallery Level.

Historically, Brisbane Arcade’s tea leaf readings have been one of the most popular and cherished memories amongst visitors to the Arcade including by the late and legendary Barry Humphries (aka Dame Edna) who named them as one of his
six favourite things about Brisbane when his art exhibition was on show in 2019.

Humphries was quoted saying: "I like it very much. I used to go there to the tea rooms to have my tea leaves read by the
clairvoyants there. I am hoping with the success of my exhibition to employ psychics to read tea leaves in the Brisbane
Arcade again. It would be a major tourist attraction."

Brisbane Arcade’s mystical Friday tea leaf readings are with renowned Brisbane medium psychic, Isabella T from Colour
of Life Psychic Readings, held in Shop 31 on the Gallery level, at a cost of $40 for 15 minutes. Bookings are essential.
