Palace Barracks Cinemas

Petrie Terrace

Palace Barracks Cinema is a state-of-the-art cinema complex, with comfortable and stylish cinemas and a lofty, glass-walled, mezzanine bar lounge with stunning views over the city, river and across to South Bank.

Patrons can either enjoy a range of premium drinks from the bar in the lounge area overlooking the city sights & lights, or take them into the cinema, along with a range of gourmet snacks, to enjoy during the movie.

As well as new release movies, Palace Barracks is often home to art-house films and annual foreign film festivals (the likes of Italian Film Festival, French Film Festival, German Film Festival, Spanish Film Festival and more).

Babes in Arms sessions are usually held every Thursday morning, but we suggest checking online when you book your tickets.

Nice to know - Cinemas can be privately booked for large groups and fundraising events. Contact the cinema direct for more information.

Need to know - Palace Barracks patrons get 3-hours free parking at The Barracks Secure Parking directly underneath the retail complex, and you will need to collect a voucher from the Box Office after the movie to be entered into a parking machine upon exit to redeem the offer.

Fortitude Valley's trendy James Street Precinct is where you will find the second Brisbane Palace Cinema location - Palace James Street Cinemas.
