FLORA SOCIAL EATERY CLOSED PERMANENTLY IN 2021.

Flora Social Eatery is an all-inclusive community hub in the heart of Albion serving expertly brewed coffee along with delicious breakfast and lunch fare.

Nestled on a leafy side street, a stone's throw from the Breakfast Creek Hotel, customers can dine inside the light-filled, atrium-style dining room filled with tables, chairs and a couple of comfy couches (inspired by Central Perk from the iconic TV show Friends), or al fresco on a well-shaded deck.

The seasonal menu features South American flavours, European cuts and classic Australian dishes such as the humble bacon and egg roll and the Big Flora Breakfast - eggs your way, bacon, chorizo, potato hash, mushrooms and tomato relish.

Standouts on the breakfast menu though are the Magic Mushrooms (sauteed & pickled mushrooms served with poached eggs, spinach and goats cheese) and Eggs Benedict with a twist - butter poached prawns, poached eggs and house-made hollandaise on brioche.

Lunch options range from juicy beef burgers and fish tacos to gourmet paninis filled with the likes of truffle mushrooms and goats cheese; bacon and brie; smoked turkey and cranberry sauce; and pesto chicken with mozzarella.

Otherwise, there are Bruschetta Boards - bruschetta topped with prosciutto, brie and grilled apple; pickled wild mushrooms and macadamia pesto; or hummus, grilled vegetables and lemon olive oil.

Bruschetta Boards are also available from 4:30pm to late on Thursday and Friday evenings when the cafe doubles as a neighbourhood bar offering cold beer, wine and cocktails including pitchers of Aperol spritz and sangria.

Nice to know - Flora is building its very own urban farm where they'll grow leafy greens and herbs, as close as possible to organic, to use in the kitchen.
