Kippa-Ring

SEAGLASS TRADERS HAS CLOSED AS OF MAY 15, 2022.

Seaglass Traders is a massive shed in the industrial backstreets of Kippa-Ring chock-a-block with retro, vintage and antique wares.

Owners Judy and Mike, self-confessed pickers, source all things old and precious from across Australia and around the globe.

Inside the huge tin shed with vaulted ceiling, you'll find everything under the sun, from nautical treasures (life buoys, floating buoys, fishing baskets and fishing nets) and kitsch collectables to unusual pieces like an Indian charpoi daybed or grass umbrella.

There's vintage signs, automobilia, militaria and antiques such as a restored 1915 Remington typewriter, Singer sewing machines and a table-top poker machine.

Benches and shelves are lined with collectables like ceramics and pottery, glassware and silverware, fine china and brassware.

Meanwhile, the floor space is filled with furniture, from wrought iron tables and rattan chairs to a chaise lounge, as well as highly-sought after items such as vintage trunks, suitcases and doctor's bags.

Plus, there's picnic and sewing baskets, old books and vintage toys, seashell chandeliers, wall clocks, cane mirrors, retro art, lanterns and lights, wall-mounted and handset rotary telephones, transistor radios, old-school cameras and much more.

Good to know: Seaglass Traders is always on the look out for vintage gems, so if you have some unwanted treasure, give them a call.

Need to know - As of March 2022 Seaglass Traders is open on Saturdays from 9am-1pm.
