Keri Craig Emporium Cafe

Brisbane

Whilst the outside world marches forward through the 21st century, downstairs in the Brisbane Arcade the world of Keri Craig is firmly entrenched in the glamorous 1950’s and ’60’s.

From the opulent lamps, oak panelling, thick carpet and luxuriant clothing to the old-fashioned toys and the soft crooner background music, Keri’s emporium is practically a museum of nostalgia.

And so to the cafe – for a ladies and girl’s ‘luncheon’ experience this is the place. Of the sandwich selections one is fit for a royal and includes roasted eye fillet, sand crab, roast turkey breast, and smoked salmon.

There are also a choice of copious salads and all of the above may be accompanied by wine or champagne by the glass.

Those who would like to introduce children to this world of refinement are encouraged with a ‘Little People’s Menu’, consisting of fresh and toasted sandwiches, as well as a Children's High Tea - sandwich, warm pastry, scone with jam and cream, mini cupcake, drink and a special gift to take home.

And should parents wish to indulge in the scrumptious high tea, there's a Traditional High Tea served with a glass of French champagne, and a Seafood High Tea which includes the cafe's famous sand crab sandwiches.
