Kabul Bazaar, a little store in the 1950's Hughes Centre, Moorooka, is packed to the hilt with Middle Eastern and Afghani staples and delicacies.

Rosewater, okra, ornate tins of nougat and pistachio sweets, halva, pickled vegetables, dried lemons, raisins, dates and figs are in abundance as are spices and dried herbs.

Otherwise basmati rice, dried mulberries, sultanas, chickpeas and fava beans, fetta and yoghurt balls are amongst the many offerings.
