Sutton Park

Ipswich

Across from Brassall Shopping Centre you will find Sutton Park, a place where it’s about learning and play with a mini-road like bicycle learning facility and playground.

Sutton Park Ipswich

Children of all ages can learn how to ride (and scoot) safely on a bike path that replicates a real road. There are stop signs, give way signs and operating traffic lights, roundabouts, direction arrows and pedestrian crossings that aim to build children’s awareness of road safety while they have fun.

Fun can also be had on the adjoining shade covered playground; there are swings, see saws, monkey bars and a fort perfect for smaller toddlers.

Big kids might also like to test out some moves at the adjoining skate bowl or play a ball game in the huge expanse of green space next to the park.

Sutton Park is also a perfect spot to meet up with friends or groups, a perfect spot to enjoy a BBQ lunch or simply a place to go so the kids can let off a bit of steam and you can sit and relax while you watch the fun unfold.

Sutton Park Ipswich BBQ gazebos

The park is fully equipped with barbeques, gazebos, tables & chairs, public toilets, drinking water and off road car parking.

So if you’re looking for a park with a difference, pack the bikes, scooters and helmets into the car and come to Sutton Park for a fun learning experience!
