Simpatico

Paddington

SIMPATICO HAS CLOSED PERMANENTLY IN 2014.

An elegant little wine bar bistro tucked away at the rear of an old saw-toothed factory that is still home to the Paddington Worker’s Club, Simpatico is a favourite local haunt.

The philosophy here is about the smaller shared plate with most dishes coming in at under $24 although there are a few mains available at the $30-$35 mark.s

The main dining area is open-sided and adjoins a small glass-walled nook and a separate internal bar.

With polished service, a good wine list and dishes emphasising light and fresh such as sautéed prawns with dill & galangal dressing and pickled carrot it’s an ideal spot for all dining occasions.

On weekends Simpatico opens for extended breakfast, with an Asian influenced menu featuring Turkish eggs with cumin spiced pumpkin frittata and curry with roti and chutney.
