The Cedar Social

Ferny Hills

THE CEDAR SOCIAL HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

The Cedar Social is a unique community dining hub in Ferny Hills - a garden cafe by day and a fairylit Italian beer garden and pizzeria by night.

From the canny folks behind Pizzantica, The Cedar Social occupies a grassy outdoor space at Ferny Hills' popular Pure Tennis complex.

Open most mornings for a well-brewed coffee, light breakfast treats such as croissants, toasties or toasts with spreads as well as cold drinks such as smoothies and shakes, The Cedar Social transforms into an enchanted garden at night.

A sundown the Cedar Social is the perfect place to enjoy a classic aperitivo such as spritz, espresso martini, mimosa or negroni, an Italian-Oz glass of beer or house beer tower, or a glass of wine, accompanied by antipasto or garlic bread.

The outdoor pizza ovens fire up at night, churning out delectable pizzas with traditional toppings including margherita, capricciosa, gamberi, diavola, tartufo and quattro formaggi, as well as a handful of Oz faves like Meat lovers and Hawaiian. There's also a choice of 3 vegan pizzas and kids pizzas for the bambinos.

There's also a house lasagne and gnocchi for those who don't fancy pizza. And for something sweet, the Dolci menu features tiramisu, cannoli, affogato or a gluten-free brownie.
