Brewtide

Albion

Brewtide is a huge craft brewery and cocktail bar with adjacent boutique bottle shop, set inside Albion's stunning new Craft'd Grounds precinct.

Tucked away on an industrial side street, the 500sqm timber-lined brewery boasts recycled timber from the building's former occupants (a mixed martial arts and dance studio) including the dance floor which has been repurposed to trim the bar, as well as reclaimed BHP steel girders.

The open floor plan allows patrons to enjoy a drink by the brew tanks or bar, grab a table on the deck, or for more intimate gatherings, there's a couple of tables nestled in the boutique bottle shop.

With over 20 taps on pour, there's something for everyone including the brewery's own crafty brews: Brewtide Lager, New Zealand Pilsner, Scenic Pale Ale, and Coffee Stout (a collaboration with Craft'd Grounds' on-site roastery/cafe Seven Miles.)

The remaining taps celebrate Australian craft beer with most sourced locally including Brisbane's Newstead Brewing, Ballistic, Black Hops, Sea Legs, Revel and Stone & Wood, as well as Hills apple cider (Adelaide) and Aether ginger beer (Northgate).

Likewise, the wine and cocktail list will support local Australian producers, with signature cocktails crafted exclusively with Australian spirits and house made syrups such as Down South (Mt Compass finger lime and mint gin with Leatherwood bush honey syrup), Tommy's Tall Tall (King Island Old Tom gin with lemon myrtle and smoked eucalyptus syrup), Salt Bush City Limits (Fossey's salt bush gin, kaffir and finger lime syrup),  and 7 Miles Espresso Martini (Mt Compass No 8 vodka, White Possum naked dark cacao, coffee liqueur, Seven Miles espresso, and vanilla and cinnamon syrup).

Brewtide’s boutique bottle shop sells everything available within the bar, and then some, again with a focus on Australian producers, selling predominantly Aussie spirits, craft beer and wine (with the exception of French champagne, of course, and a few NZ drops).

While there is no food on offer as of yet, other Craft'd Grounds tenants yet to be announced include a premium restaurant, artisan food stalls, and a weekend farmers market.
