Picnic Point Cafe & Restaurant

Toowoomba

Perched at the top of the Toowoomba range is Picnic Point Cafe and Restaurant, where the locals and visitors gather for good food and spectacular views.

Picnic Point Cafe and Restaurant Toowoomba

Se amidst the Australian bushland, the café and restaurant boasts both alfresco and indoor dinning with incredible panoramic views over the gum trees, range and the horizon.

Adding to its magnificent atmosphere, the popular dining spot draws in rays of sunshine and warmth through the floor to ceiling windows while white vases with yellow posies highlights one of Toowoomba’s major attractions.

The antipasto platter is recommended, a mix of local produce and flavours such as pork rillette with port jelly, Tasmanian brie, marinated vegetables and fresh herbs. Sliced ciabatta sourced from a local supplier comes served alongside the colourful platter.

Ordered with a glass of wine, and to share, the antipasto platter is a pleasant starter to any light main meal. Enjoy with a table by the window where native kookaburras are often seen or in the evenings as the sun begins to set.
