Elysian Falls

Flaxton

Elysian Falls is a unique world first dome house escape, nestled in eight acres of lush rainforest in the Sunshine Coast hinterland township of Flaxton.

Created by sculptor Cath Wild, the award-winning interconnected dome houses, which are built from 6000 handmade aircrete bricks, feature two bedrooms, open plan lounge dining room, full kitchen with stone benchtops and bathroom with picture window and walk-in shower.

The bedroom domes have handcarved cedar bedheads, round windows, and arched picture windows overlooking the lush valley beyond, while on the outdoor dining terrace is a firepit and hot tub.

The wood-fired hot tub has a stunning stained glass feature wall, a perfect place to relax and take in the gorgeous surrounds. (Note that there is a surcharge to use the hot tub, with 24 hours notice required, as it uses tank rainwater  and takes 5-6 hours to fill and heat).

And for those who wish to venture out and explore, Elysian Falls is right on the doorstep of beautiful waterways, rainforest paths and private waterfalls.
