Bridge to Brisbane

Brisbane's beloved annual event celebrates community, raises much-need funds for many local charities, and attracts some of Brisbane’s favourite personalities to its colourful, entertainment-packed course.

Bridge to Brisbane

The Sunday Mail Transurban Bridge to Brisbane offers an unrivalled opportunity to experience Brisbane’s iconic Gateway Bridge, landmarks, and locations over a 10km and 5km course.

Bridge to Brisbane

The 10km course begins at the Murarrie end of the Gateway Bridge (Sir Leo Hielscher Bridge), crosses the Brisbane River to Eagle Farm, and then travels along Kingsford Smith Drive to Newstead and Bowen Hills before finishing at Brisbane Showgrounds.

Bridge to Brisbane

The leisurely 5km course starts at Hercules Park, Hamilton before winding along Kingsford Smith Drive, looping back through Bowen Hills, and finishing at Brisbane Showgrounds’ festive Finish Village.

Bridge to Brisbane

Last year's event sold out in advance and raised more than $1.2M for over 300 Queensland charities including The Courier-Mail Children’s Fund, Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland, The Children’s Hospital Foundation, Mates4Mates, The Pyjama Foundation, Anglicare Southern Queensland, and many more.
