Requiem for the Living

The Old Museum

The Queensland Choir will perform Vivaldi's charming and energetic Gloria and Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living on Saturday, September 21, at the heritage-listed Old Museum.

The Old Museum

Forrest's composition has become a favourite with choirs all over the world. A requiem at its core is as much for the living as for the dead with the final movement, Lux Aeterna, portraying light, peace and rest.

This evening performance in the stunning surrounds of the Old Museum is not to be missed, featuring soloists Annika Hinrichs (soprano) and Morgan Rosati (mezzo-soprano) with The Sinfonia of St Andrews orchestra, and conducted by Kevin Power.
