Glass Bar

GLASS BAR HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Being in Glass Bar is somewhat akin to being in a fishbowl, albeit a glamorous curtain cloaked one that serves tapas and hosts cabaret model sketch nights.

From the corner of the Judith Wright Centre this artsy crowd attracting lounge is the place to sink into a comfortable couch with glass of wine in hand and watch the passing parade through the plate glass walls.

There’s a decent tapas menu as a pre or post theatre supper for those attending a show in the centre and, aside from cabaret Tuesdays, the rest of the weeknights feature live music acts while on weekends DJ’s spin soulful sounds.
