Revamp Espresso

Moorooka

Revamp Espresso Bar in Moorooka is raising the bar in this southside suburb with top-notch coffee and fab foodie fare.

The former vacant space on Beaudesert Road has been transformed into a slick café with rustic features – think timber and brick - while retaining some of the shopfront’s original character like beautifully restored floorboards.

Open daily for coffee and cake, a full chef-prepared menu is available from Wednesday through Sunday. Breakfast dishes, available from 7:30 to 2, range from hummus on sourdough with felafel, fresh pomegranate and dukkha, and harissa scrambled eggs with chimichurri and flatbread, to French toast brioche with saffron poached pear and cinnamon mascarpone.

Lunch served from 11:30 includes Thai fish cakes, beef burgers, Moroccan-spiced lentil burgers and earl grey poached chicken served with asparagus, broccolini and spinach.

Coffee on pour is by Toby’s Estate. Otherwise, there are teas, white and dark hot chocolate, smoothies, milkshakes, frappes and iced teas.

Nice to know - Revamp is child-friendly with a kid’s menu consisting of chipolata or chicken nuggets and chips and spaghetti bolognaise.
