Paniyiri Greek Festival

South Brisbane

Australia’s most iconic Greek Festival, Paniyiri, returns to Musgrave Park for a fantastic two-day celebration of all things Greek, on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, 2024.

Brisbane's world-renowned festival invites everyone to dine, dance, and party like a Greek over two huge days, as Paniyiri opens a window on one of the world's most interesting and ancient cultures.

The festival is a multi-sensory experience where all ages and abilities are encouraged to dance the zorba, learn Mediterranean cooking, taste Greek wines, cheer on the plate smashers, and shop the market stalls.

One of the festival highlights though is sampling delicious Greek cuisine from multiple food stalls representing a dozen different Greek regions, including authentic savoury and sweet dishes such as baklava and loukoumades (honey puffs).

Prepare to be transported to Greece through the sights, sounds, smells and tastes at Paniyiri. Opa!
