The Eclectic Mix

Wynnum

The Eclectic Mix is a treasure trove of retro and vintage home wares, furniture and fashion with a charming cafe, found in the heart of Wynnum.

The Eclectic Mix, Wynnum

Formerly located at Kangaroo Point, the vintage store has relocated to Brisbane's bayside and expanded with more space for vintage and antique delights, plus a few tables and swings (yes, swings) where customers can enjoy a well-brewed coffee or tea and delicious, locally-sourced sweet and savoury treats.

The Eclectic Mix, Wynnum

Take a seat at one of the tables or pull up a swing at the espresso bar and savour a blueberry friand, chocolate brownie, sticky date cake, lemon meringue tart or yummy, moist carrot cake, accompanied by a cup of coffee (supplied by Brisbane-based, veteran owned 3 Elements Coffee). There's also a handful of savoury bites like spinach and feta muffins and mini quiches.

The Eclectic Mix, Wynnum

Inside the shop you'll find countless items of interest, from vintage vinyl and retro fashion, to antique furniture such as leadlight china cabinets and silky oak sideboards, kitchen pantry dressers, vintage meat safes and milking stools.

The Eclectic Mix, Wynnum

The store really does boast an eclectic mix. You'll find everything from silver teapots and English fine bone china, to German pottery, vintage prints and retro glassware, curios, collectables and crystalware, antique irons, vintage handbags, retro sneakers, cowboy boots, brooches, and so much more, including some new, upcycled and shabby chic items.

The Eclectic Mix, Wynnum

Whether you’re looking for a unique gift or a treasure for yourself, The Eclectic Mix is worth a browse, and it's the only vintage store and cafe where you can have a swing while sipping lattes.
