Harris Farm Markets

West End

Harris Farm Markets flagship Queensland store is a massive 1800sqm food mecca in the heritage-listed Peters Ice-Cream Factory in West End Village.

The famous, family-owned and operated market is home to four lines of locally-made Pour Your Own honey, three direct pour milk offerings, more than 500 cheeses, over 150 plant-based and vegan products, their famous Imperfect Picks range plus an abundance of fruit and vegetables.

Highlights of the store include:

Fruit & Vegetables - With more than 500 lines, including organics, you'd find seasonal locally-grown produce like Queensland strawberries, Hass avocados, apples, pears, mandarins and lemons, as well as brussel sprouts, spinach and celery. From the Locke farm in Stanthorpe comes baby beets, parsley, watermelon, radish, baby turnip and French breakfast radish, while from Timmaz farms in Caboolture, there’s all varieties of fancy lettuce and zucchinis, and sweet potatoes from 3D farms at Bundaberg.

Imperfect Picks - These are Harris Farms range of seasonal fruit and vegetables that may not look perfect from the outside but are full of flavour and goodness on the inside. The Imperfect Picks selection is a way of reducing the 15% of perfectly good, fresh produce that gets wasted because it doesn't fit consumer standards of what it should look like to be good quality.

Milk and Honey On Tap - As well as offering Maleny Dairy's milk on tap like the Clayfield store, the West End store also offers Baranbah Organics (from the border of Qld/NSW) on tap and Oat Milk from Inside Out. And, in a first for Harris Farm, four lines of Pour Your Own honey from Gold Coast produced BioSota is available on tap at West End.

Nuts & Health Food - Expect to find a range of 48 nuts and seeds, and more than 16 health foods including the organic pioneers, Kialla Pure Foods from Greenmount, as well as Farm Jo from Mullumbimby. And, in another first, self-serve Nut Butters including almond, peanut and cashew butter are available.

Cheese & A Salumi Deli - Harris Farm is cheese heaven, with more than 500 cheeses, including a range of vegan and local stars Barambah, Woombye and Casa Motta, among others. There's also a dedicated Salumi Deli counter featuring Northern Rivers cured and fermented small goods, specialist Salumi and run by Massimiliano Scalas.

Boulangerie & Donuts - Teneriffe’s famous Danny’s Bread, the artisan organic sourdough bakery, will have a counter and, in yet another first, there's even a dedicated donut deli.

Local Gourmet Products - Some of Brisbane’s leading food names - Sol breads, Roza’s Sauces, CJ’s Pasta, My Berries, Madders Brothers Patisserie sweet treats - along with Woggoon Farm honey and edible flowers can be found on the shelves in store.

Plant-Based Range - Harris Farm offers more than 150 plant-based products including Bite Me Fine Foods, Golden Falafel, Suzy Spoon, The Green Lion, Veglicious Kitchen and Wildly Good.

And, that's not all! There's also a dedicated butcher shop, a specialist seafood market, 20 loose teas and coffee beans roasted by Lund Coffee in Bowen Hills, and fresh flowers.

Good to know - For more than 40 years, Harris Farm Markets has been delivering goodness to Australian families with the core value and belief that Australian families should have the freshest and best available to them. The famed local fruit, veg and grocery market opened their first store in Queensland in Brisbane’s Clayfield at in November last year.
