Wynnum Water Park

Wynnum

Brisbane’s oldest water park is a fantastic aquativity playground on the waterfront that packs a crowd on summer weekends. The adjacent tidal wading pool (which varies from waist to knee deep), dates from the Depression era when it was constructed by the unemployed.

Wynnum Wading Pool

The sea front recreational spot has since been brought into the 21st century with fantastic aquativity in the form of climb-on spouting whales, a modern jetty, a playground featuring climbing nets and the tiny man-made white sand Pandanus Beach.

To dry off, scooter walk or bike south a few hundred metres along the Esplanade park to the next playground or if feeling energetic, onward to Manly Marina. Otherwise, grab some fish'n'chips from Finn's Fish House across the road and enjoy in the park.

Looking for more things to do in the area, why not enjoy the scenic walk or ride from Wynnum to Manly, or discover the Wynnum Mangrove Boardwalk.
