The Hawk Flying Fox

The Jungle Adventure Play

Strap in for the ride of your life! The Hawk, the longest electric flying fox in the Southern Hemisphere has landed at The Jungle Adventure Play in Tingalpa.

The Jungle Adventure Play Tingalpa

The first of its kind in Australia, The Hawk is a wild attraction where thrill seekers are strapped into a harnessed chair eight metres up in the air and taken on an electrifying 140m journey at speeds of up to 22km/h through the indoor jungle and outdoors into the elements (even in the rain).

The Jungle Adventure Play Tingalpa

The Hawk is the latest attraction ready for take-off at The Jungle Adventure Play, a world of fun for kids and adults at Tingalpa, on Brisbane’s southside.  Owner Lachlan Walker says The Hawk is an extraordinary ride inspired by the Myer Centre Dragon Coaster, a rollercoaster that ran above Brisbane’s Queen Street shopping centre between 1988 and 2000.

The Jungle Adventure Play Tingalpa

Need to know - Those aged 3-5 years old must be accompanied by an adult and the ride can take a maximum weight of 130kg.
