California Tacos

West End

California Tacos brings a taste of the Baja to Brisbane with a SoCal-inspired Mexican eatery and bar in the heart of West End, serving fresh tacos, huge burritos and the biggest plate of nachos in Australia.

Located on Boundary Street, the light-filled taqueria features mosaic tiled tables, yucca plants, and pops of pink neon for those Insta-worthy pics.

The eatery boasts plenty of seating including inside a modern, chic dining room, outside on the footpath, plus an al fresco dining space out back with a margarita bar, accessed via a secret laneway.

The mouthwatering menu features an array of  tacos including classics like The OG Fish Taco, Pollo (chicken) and El Porky - plus signature ones such as The Cali (chargrilled steak, salsa, french fries, baja aioli, avo-peño cream and guacamole) and Hawaiian (citrus-marinated chicken, melted cheese, sweet potato fries, mango and pineapple salsa, chipotle aioli and avocado). There's even a cactus taco made with sautéed cactus, zucchini, spanish onion, white cabbage, black beans and salsa. All tacos are made using house made flour or corn tortillas.
