Retro Metro

Paddington

Retro Metro, one of Brisbane's best vintage and retro shops lives underneath an old weatherbeaten Queenslander in Paddington.

Retro Metro is where you'll find something for every occasion - a source of groovy day wear perfect for barefoot bowls, a game of croquet or a lady’s luncheon as well as the place to visit when a touch of glamour is called for – bow ties, smoking jackets, satin pumps, fur stoles, kaftans, chiffon gowns and beaded evening bags from the ’20’s to the ’80’s.

Scattered throughout are the best of twentieth century gadgets and wares such as art deco ash trays, 1970s German pottery lamps, martini glasses and fob watches, while some such as old vinyl records have been cleverly reincarnated as peanut bowls.
