Vinnies

Paddington

Located in the heritage-listed Foresters Hall on Latrobe Terrace, Paddington, this op shop is one of Brisbane's best.

Inside this well preserved example of a small 19th century hall, Vinnies is not so much a vintage store as op shop where treasures are waiting to be unearthed -  from tap shoes to evening gowns and original Levis for instance.

Otherwise it’s laden from one end to the other with old crockery, wardrobes, seating, ornaments, jewellery and preloved clothing.

Take the narrow creaky steps from the entry vestibule up to the gallery overlooking the hall and here you'll find vintage fashion and dress ups including a small mercifully cheap stash for children including masks, pirate vests and so forth.
